Welcome to the official website of the Gadsden Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. It is with gratitude and humility that our chapter is supportive of the city of Gadsden and surrounding communities. We hope you will find our site informative.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority has more than 350,000 college-educated women and 1058 chapters in all 50 states and internationally. As a chapter, we support our community through the implementation of the sorority’s major program areas: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
The Gadsden Alumnae Chapter members have been committed to service in the Gadsden/Etowah County since our chartering on December 15, 1976. Our commitment to service is a rich heritage not only nationally, but locally to give back to our community by providing leadership and promoting scholarship.
